Savanna’s founder, Christopher Schlank, sits on the Investment Committee of each of its funds and is responsible for overseeing sourcing, acquisitions, asset management, marketing, construction/redevelopment and sales. Since founding Savanna in 1992, Mr. Schlank has overseen the acquisition and redevelopment of more than 70 real estate assets compromising over 19 million square feet of space and $3.5 billion of total invested capital. Mr. Schlank has served as Assistant Adjunct Professor at Columbia University where he taught a seminar in Real Estate Finance to graduate students in the Columbia Architecture School’s Real Estate Master’s Degree Program. Mr. Schlank received an MS in Real Estate Development from the Columbia School of Architecture and a BA in Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
